The Medusa Touch

John Morlar was an inconspicuous lone wolf whose only distinctive hobby was to write books about evil and collect newspaper clippings about various catastrophes. The case of his murder gets assigned to the French inspector Brunel, whose internship in London thus becomes unexpectedly dramatic. He suspects that this case will be a tough nut to crack, but has no idea how the abysses of human souls he will have to look into. He will encounter evil whose substance lies somewhere beyond the possibilities of the human senses.
