The Tribe

To survive the harsh environment of boarding school, the deaf-mute Sergej becomes part of a wild organization - the tribe. His random sex-escapade with one of the tribe concubines turns into love and forces Sergej to break all the unwritten rules of the tough hierarchy whose member he wanted to become. The Ukrainian festival hit is shot without dialogue or subtitles, using solely sign language, because love and hatred need no translating.
