Laika is a dog living on the outskirts of a Russian city. Life is not easy for her. After she gets captured, she is retrained to become a pioneer in astronautics. Soon after she is launched into space, a number of other animals follow her from Houston and Baikonur. The animals wander around space until they start to happily colonize a remote planet, to which they get through the black hole. After a long period of harmonious and undisturbed co-existence with the indigenous animals, they are found by two human cosmonauts…
