Freedom - Slovak pre-premiere of the film

Freiheit

She left Berlin to start a new life in Bratislava. Nora (40) leaves her husband and two children without saying one word. She is lead by an inexplicable force. She wants to be free. First she goes to Vienna where she meets a younger man but she feels that a culturally similar environment doesn’t give her enough freedom, therefore she goes to Bratislava. She meets a young stripper Etel and her husband Tamás and begins a new life.

This is Jan Speckenbach’s second film; his previous feature film Reported Missing was presented at the Berlinale 2012 and was nominated for European Discovery at the European Film Award 2012.It was filmed mainly in Bratislava and from among Slovak actors it features for example Andrea Sabová and Ondrej Kovaľ.

The film will be introduced at the Slovak preview by producer Peter Badač and actress Andrea Sabová.
