Pit-Hole

Natasha, her two men, four children and a herd of disobedient goats and swine live alongside each other on a crumbling farm. The happiness of the somewhat untraditional family cannot be disrupted by anything. Whether it be Natasha’s husband’s affiliation for conspiracy theories, her daughter’s inclination towards the teaching of the Jehovah’s Witnesses or the property developers trying to flatten the farmstead to the ground. It so happens that Natasha’s grange is surrounded by huge housing developments; the animals are running amongst the towering buildings and stinking to high heaven – to the neighbours’ discontent. However, the energetic woman pushes forward and her farm becomes an isle of freedom and indomitability in a country and a time that by no means agree with their way of life.
