Everyday Rebellion

If you want to win over a boxer, challenge him to a game of chess. The documentary essay Everyday Rebellion is part of a homonymous project that explores modern forms of non-violent protests and civil disobedience related to the development of media and new technologies;protests that test the strength of dictatorships as well as the durability of global corporations’ structures. Drawing from the examples of various protest movements from all around the world (Iran, Syria, Spain), the film tells stories whose creativity, resourcefulness and seesaw successhave managed todefeat violence and repression. The common denominator of these rebellious acts is the idea of open-mindedness and non-violent problem solving.
