The Lunchbox

With kindly humour, The Lunchbox tells a story about how a small mistake can change one’s whole life. In Mumbai a well worked-out lunchbox delivery system has existed for 120 years. The local women use it to deliver lunches to their husbands at work. According to a Harvard scientific analysis, only one delivery in a million ends up where it shouldn’t. It is exactly this one stray lunchbox that connects the lovely yet unhappy housewife Ila, struggling for her husband’s attention, and Sajaan, an office worker close to retirement.
