Birds, Orphans and Fools

A Juraj Jakubisko film, whose last years English DVD edition (publishing house Second Run), became the 24th best disk of 2014 according to the prestigious magazine Little White Lies and DVD Beaver website ranked it even 2nd (source: The Slovak film institute). Jakubisko portrays a story of orphan friends Yorick and Andrej, and of their common love – Jewish Marty. A film is full of fiction and expressive images in which the only way to happiness is craziness.
