Caesar Must Die

After the applause of the audience back to his cell... directorial brother´s duo of Tavianov spends six months in one of the toughest Italian prisons to shoot with a group of prisoners, mise-en-scene of the classic William Shakespeare's tragedy Julius Caesar. Does art have power to transform a person at least for a while? Inside the four-hundred-years prison drama intertwined with the lives of local prisoners and many intrigues, betrayals, and alliances may resemble those which they have undergone before the loss of freedom.
