The Aerial

In the year xxx, in a mute metropolis Mr. Television rules, the only one with a monopoly on the word and image. All residents watch the screen and eat the dishes that they are served. But Mr. Television plans something greater - through TV broadcast, he wants to dominate all life forever. To achieve the fulfillment of his plan, he kidnaps the only creature possessing a voice - a lovely singer... An allegorical sci-fi Antenna uses formal elements of silent film, and makes no secret of how the film was inspired by legends of world-class cinematography (Eisenstein, Vertov, Lang, Murnau), but nevertheless this remains a modern film with a current message.
