Here we are again in Banská Štiavnica, ready for the films, music and summer. A cult film is a very fitting term for all the films that have not become forgotten, even after years. It denotes films that have become centres of mass hysteria and even those that sneaked into our lives and are refusing to leave. The Cult 13 screening will feature films whose cult character is not to be doubted, but even those that have been labelled as cult films only by a small circle of people, maybe even the chosen (cult?) individuals. The rest is what we believe will become the cult classics after you see them here in Banská Štiavnica. At the same time, we tried to pick such cult movies whose clear link to the four elements of Štiavnica would be apparent and ever-present. We tried our best to make it all a cult, unforgettable experience. We have prepared a few short introductions to some of the films so that you can get better acquainted with them. Feel free to discuss the presented ideas and films if you feel like it. If you do not, listen, watch and - most importantly – relax.
