4 Elements for Kids

The programme of 4 Elements for Kids will offer a varied mix of film-related activities focused
on the human senses (eyesight, hearing, the sense of touch, taste and smell) and sometimes even “nonsenses” – just like children like it. The kids will have a chance to attend a three-day music workshop as well as open creative workshops Afternoon with Mimi & Lisa and Animánie together with various film screenings. One of the projections will feature a sneak preview of a new episode from a series of animated cartoons Mimi & Lisa, directed by Katka Kerekesová. The programme will conclude with a public presentation – a concert by the attendees of the music workshop. We will also screen a series of short films created during the open creative workshop Animánie as well as some shorts that appeared in the previous years of 4 Elements for Kids. 

The open creative workshops will take place in the Terra Permonia centre and the music workshop will be held in the building of the Elementary Arts School. The films will be screened in the large hall of the Cultural centre, in Terra Permonia and in the cultural centre in the village of Počúvadlo. All parts of the programme of 4 Elements for Kids will be in Slovak or Czech language. The admission fee to the film screenings in Terra Permonia and the Cultural centre is €1.50 for children under 15 and €3.50 for adults. The participants with accreditation can attend the screenings free of charge. Considering the capacity limits of the screening rooms, children have a priority right to see the films if the number of viewers should be too high. If you wish to attend the open creative workshops in Terra Permonia or the final presentation, you may do so free of charge with no need to register beforehand. As long as there is space left, you are welcome. The music workshop is limited to 15 registered participants. The participant’s fee is €12 (the price includes the workshop pass and an assortment of beverages. However, it does not include lodging, food expenses or tickets to the film screenings).
