The project is aimed to involve the latest technology to art in public spaces. Interactive visual performances and installations will be carried out throughout the duration of the seminar 4 Elements. Visual artists, programmers and performers (ideally in one person) will be working on them during few concentrated days of stay in Banská Štiavnica. In addition to the visual experience, visitors will be able personally to test some of the technology. Workshop participants will reflect this year's theme of the film seminar POWER / POWER of media and much of the work will be created for the particular space and possibly time. Works will exist outside the physical reality, or at its (digital) borders. The aim is to use the widest range of possibilities of new technologies and their interactivity with a broad audience (via smartphones, tablets, as well as own touch, sight and hearing). The result of the workshop will be interactive public performances in public space especially in the city center, with direct involvement of the audience. Places and times of projections (and other outcomes) will be adapted to film seminar program. Artists will work with technologies like vvvv, pd, Unity3D, processing, blender, Kinect, X360 gamepad... Sounds unfamiliar? Never mind. Public outputs are intended to anyone who will be at the right time in the right place. The project is tailored to the demanding audience of the seminar, but also counts with passers-by. Part of the program is also aimed at youth and children who through technology "toys" will come into contact with the remarkable art. Boris Vitázek (StiX) is in charge of the workshop leadership; between involved is sample of the creators of the international "digital" artistic community.

Project Invisible Štiavnica, to which workshop belongs is an interactive game with contemporary art in the public space of the historic city center. The project activates artists and visitors to the city (audience-players), with placing and retrieving the creative acts that can be tangible and lasting, as well as intangible and conceptual. Location of art works are placed on map of Invisible Štiavnica, which is distributed at key points of the cultural life of the city. Organizers of Project Invisible Štiavnica and new media workshop are Diana Majdáková and Barbora Nácarová.
