Master Class of Marcel Łoziński - CANCELED

We are very sorry to announce that Marcel Łoziński can't visit Banská Štiavnica due to family reasons and his Master Class is canceled.

„The power of the author“ from the point of view of two Central European film directors. How is power projected into recording of or creating reality in the process of filmmaking? How does film influence its audience? Robert Kirchhoff and Marcel Łoziński will share their views and experience using their films Normalization and How it's done as the two examples.

Marcel Łoziński

Along with Krzystof Kieślowski, Marcel Łoziński is one of the most renowned Polish filmmakers of his generation and one of the most internationally acclaimed Polish artists. In 1994, his short documentary 89 mm from Europe was nominated for the Oscars. His films depict mainly social issues and philosophical topics. He is not afraid of blurring the line between documentary and fiction, as he believes that the process of filmmaking lies in finding the balance between filmmaker's idea and what the reality suggests. 4 Elements will screen his film How It's Done
