The 6^th Summer Workshop MPhilms is designed for 20 young people in the age of 15 to 25 interested in film, photography and performance, coming from Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Poland and Czech Republic.

• VIDEO AND EXPERIMENTAL FILM - lecturers: Róbert Lakatos and Arthur Bálint
• PHOTOGRAPHY – lecturers: Juraj Fifik and Tomáš Manina
• PERFORMANCE ART - lecturers: József Juhász R. and Nastja Säde Rönkkö

During each workshop, the participants would develope their skills creatively and shape their ideas into a final form. With the practical exercises they learn ways to express in film, photography and performance art. Both theoretical and practical part of the workshop would fill up the gap existing in education in Slovakia, unlike in the other countries, and that is media education and related fields. The work of participants would result in accomplished performances, video-films and photographs, which are to be presented on 9^th August 2013 during our main partner’s event - Summer Film Seminar 4 Elements (www.4zivly.sk). The expected number of viewers is a real challenge for the participants of the workshop. Authors get immediate feedback that could contribute to their artistic future work. Later on, all the works will be presented on the MPhilms web site www.mphilms.sk.
