Screening with a Concert: The Sins of Love

The Sins of Love, one of the best Czech silent films, tells the story of an aspiring actor from the countryside whose life falls apart after he moves to the city – they are not interested in him in the theater and it seems like his wife has been cheating on him.

The screening will be accompanied by a concert of three Czech musicians. Johana Švarcová is known for being a member of bands Kazety and Radio Ivo. Jan Kratochvíl represents one half of the musical duo DVA that already performed at 4 Elements several years ago with success. They are joined by Martin Ožvold who is an electro-acoustic experimenter and sound artist.
